Mike Faso is currently the President of our AZOT Motocross club and before that he served as the Vice President so he’s been on the Board for the last 4 years.
Mike watched motocross as a kid but it wasn’t until he turned 35 years old that he got interested in the sport while watching one of his family members race motocross that he decided to start the hobby himself. What he enjoys most about motocross is that it offers a family atmosphere & that he can challenge himself as he learns more about riding.
Mike has raced in 4 of the AZOT International races so far. His biggest accomplishment actually happened during one of the Internationals where he got a 2nd place overall in his class.
When I asked Mike how competitive he is as a Motocross racer he said he was a 7 because it’s not just about winning…to him it’s about being competitive at the same time.
His favorite motocross memory happened in 2022 when he got 1st place and the hole shot. He remembers telling his friends…”I got a 1-1 and the hole shot bitches!”
