Andy was 13 years old when he got into motocross because he watched a lot of Evel Knieval and all the other motocross guys from the late 70’s era.
The reason he enjoys dirt bikes so much is because of the excitement, adventure & thrill that comes with riding.
Andy & his friends started out riding in the desert to ride but when Andy was 31 years old…all of his buddy’s quit riding so Andy did too. Then when Andy was 40 he found the club on the internet and started attending meetings.
He has raced in most of the AZ VET International races since 2010 and has occasionally raced in some International at Hangtown, So Cal’s & Idaho tracks.
When I asked Andy how competitive he is when it comes to racing motocross, he said he used to be an 8 or 9 but he’s had too injuries so now he says he’s a 4.
